Affordable Housing
Our affordable housing projects range from apartment renovations to mixed-use projects to multi-story apartments.
We have recently completed Arbor Terrace, in San Diego, consisting of 71 three and four-bedroom units in a four-story type V, wood framed building over three levels of subterranean parking. The project was developed in collaboration with the local community planning group, our client, Squire ADI and the City of San Diego Planning Commission with the goal of providing much needed affordable housing in the diverse North Park neighborhood. Financed through public tax credits and private funding, the project sets a standard for developing affordable housing.
Other selected projects to our credit include the Beaumanor, a single room occupancy hotel in downtown San Diego; the 104-unit Lake Park apartments in Turlock, California and the 60-unit Harbor View apartments in San Diego, California.
While our architecture is contemporary in form and massing it always reflects the context and the neighborhood with sensitive use of materials and sustainable design.
