Bankers Hill Townhomes

19 Units / 42,000 s.f.
San Diego, California

Bankers Hill Townhomes evolved from images of the traditional “Brownstone” walk up townhouse set in a southern California neighborhood. The concept developed into a community within Bankers Hill.

Bankers Hill is a 19 unit residential project consisting of 1 and 2 bedroom, single and two story units above subterranean parking. The arrangement of building mass and scale provide light and ventilation within the units, offering various levels of social interaction between its residents. Each of the ground floor units each have private front yards and front porches, providing greater connection to the community.

Exterior materials consist of a traditional stone base at the first level with deep recessed openings articulated in the stone detailing. The upper levels are contrasted with contemporary forms finished in stone or tile and the two story atriums are constructed of steel and glass. The high interior spaces and large window openings create a spacious feel and provide options for natural ventilation. All of the upper units have panoramic views of the city and large private decks and terraces.

As a community, Bankers Hill Townhomes provide residents individual identity and security, and an opportunity for social interaction within the neighborhood.
